Press Releases

2004-03-30 Stefan Mertens appointed director

Stefan Mertens assumes the role of director of the broadcast systems business with immediate effect.

Stefan Mertens has been a member of the core team at Thum + Mahr since the beginning of 2000. In this time he has been responsible for the strategic development of this business. His prime responsibility will be the expansion of system house activities in Germany, and in within other European countries. The company has named him as director with immediate effect, and transferred the management of the complete system business to him. He carries the title of COO (Chief Operating Officer). Together with Managing Directors, Hanno Mahr (CEO) und Peter Thum (CFO), a powerful team has been established with clear definitions of responsibility.

In spite of generally tough conditions, Thum + Mahr has been able to expand and successfully consolidate its position in the market; a situation arrived at not least by the competent and supportive teamwork of all our employees. We all wish Stefan Mertens every success in his new challenge.
