German regional radio station Radio Salü extends their operation by an additional DAB program output

In late summer 2002 Thum+Mahr was rewarded with the contract for the integration of an additional radio programm output for Radio Salü in Saarbrücken, Germany. A special challenge derived from the fact that the extension of their network had to be conducted during operation.

The exisitng DALET playout system had to be extended and redesigned accordingly.

In addition Radio Salü ordered a new sound design for their audio processing from T+M. The design work was implemented by a new procedure which included a in deep analysis of the exisiting sound settings and the management's expectation of the new one. The implementation was called very successful.
