Queen amused ...

It did not go unnoticed at Buckingham Palace that a German company had successfully carried out the general renovation at BBC Radio. The Queen instructed her private secretary to address a letter on Royal stationary to Hanno Mahr personally, saying "... I am glad to hear that you were successful in your project with the BBC". An invitation to dinner did not appear to be planned, however.

Production House of the Future

Under this ambitious banner the BBC World Sevice, unquestionably the most renowned overseas sevice in the world is, together with Thum+Mahr in the process of planning the transformation of their Workflows. At the end of 2005, T+M won the assignment of General Contractor for consultation, concept development and technological transformation of the production/transmission landscape for the seven language services. This trend-setting project will create the expertise necessary for the BBC to fulfil the complex requirements the future will bring.

2006-06-06	A new digital broadcast centre for RBB, Berlin Berlin's RBB (Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg) put its trust in the project management of T+M for the complete integration of a Mandozzi system for their new transmission facility (SK3). The contract was awarded just before the start of the football world championship series
2006-04-07	Heart Surgery at Radio France Radio France awards contract to T+M for the supply and complete installation of a new central router for their transmission complex in Paris. The public broadcaster thereby signals its trust in the German System House for a crucial heart implantation in its Maison de Radio.
2006-03-15	The caravan moves on ... …to India, twice in quick succession: Two years after NDR received a small regional facility in Delhi from T+M, a contact has now been let by the BBC for a full-blown broadcast complex.
